About The Position

McMichael & Gray, P.C. is seeking an experienced Associate Real Estate Attorney to join its Huntsville, Alabama office. This is an opportunity to join a well-established, high-performing team at a growing real estate law firm with long-standing client relationships across the Southeast.

The attorney will manage residential real estate transactions from contract through closing, working collaboratively with experienced attorneys and support staff in an established office with steady firm business. The position requires flexibility to work extended hours when necessary, especially at month-end.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in the State of Alabama.
• At least 2 years of experience in residential and/or commercial real estate law.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines in a high-volume environment.
• Team-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate across departments.
• Must live in or be willing to commute to the Huntsville area.
• Flexible schedule and ability to work extended hours when necessary, especially at month-end.

Responsibilities

• Manage residential real estate transactions from contract to closing.
• Review title work and closing documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Represent lenders, buyers, and sellers throughout real estate closings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, agents, lenders, and internal team members.
• Collaborate with the Huntsville office team to ensure smooth, efficient closings.
• Uphold the firm's standards of professionalism, responsiveness, and exceptional client service.
