About The Position
McMichael & Gray, P.C. is seeking an experienced Associate Real Estate Attorney for its Myrtle Beach/Conway area, South Carolina office. The role offers the opportunity to join an established, high-performing team at a growing real estate law firm with existing office business, experienced attorneys, and support staff. The attorney will manage residential real estate transactions and represent lenders, buyers, and sellers through closings. The position suits a motivated, detail-oriented attorney who values client service, teamwork, and professional growth in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Licensed to practice law in South Carolina.
- At least 2 years of experience in residential and/or commercial real estate law.
- Strong organizational and communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines in a high-volume environment.
- Team-oriented and able to collaborate across departments.
- Live in or be willing to commute to the Myrtle Beach area.
- Flexible schedule and ability to work extended hours when necessary, especially at month-end.
Responsibilities
- Manage residential real estate transactions from contract to closing.
- Review title work and closing documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Represent lenders, buyers, and sellers throughout real estate closings.
- Communicate effectively with clients, agents, lenders, and internal team members.
- Collaborate with the Myrtle Beach office team to support smooth, efficient closings.
- Meet the firm's standards for professionalism, responsiveness, and client service.
