McMichael & Gray, P.C. is seeking an experienced Associate Real Estate Attorney to join its Greenville, South Carolina office. The role offers the opportunity to work in an established office with steady firm business, alongside experienced attorneys and support staff, managing residential real estate transactions from contract through closing. The schedule is flexible, with extended hours sometimes necessary, especially at month-end.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in the State of South Carolina.
• At least 2 years of experience in residential and/or commercial real estate law.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines in a high-volume environment.
• Team-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate across departments.
• Must live in or be willing to commute to the Greenville area.
• Flexible schedule with ability to work extended hours when necessary, especially at month-end.

Responsibilities

• Manage residential real estate transactions from contract to closing.
• Review title work and closing documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Represent lenders, buyers, and sellers throughout real estate closings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, agents, lenders, and internal team members.
• Collaborate with the Greenville office team to support smooth, efficient closings.
• Uphold the firm’s standards of professionalism, responsiveness, and exceptional client service.
