About The Position

Providence Alaska Medical Center is hiring multiple Associate Radiology Technologists in its Diagnostic Imaging Department in Anchorage, Alaska. Under the direction of the Imaging Director or lead and the medical direction of radiologists, the technologist performs radiologic procedures within their scope and assists radiologists with exams and procedures to obtain a diagnosis and provide the best possible patient care. The role is part-time, 0.4 FTE, on a variable shift schedule of 16 hours per week.

Eligible external hires may qualify for a $4,000 hiring bonus, subject to qualifications and payment conditions. Relocation assistance is also available to eligible hires, subject to qualifications and payment conditions. Requirements

• Completion of one year of an accredited radiologic training program, or equivalent education or experience.
• Within one year of hire, obtain National Registered Technologist - Radiography certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Upon hire, hold National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

• Upon hire, hold National Registered Technologist - Radiography certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Six months of completed clinical rotation in a Diagnostic Imaging environment.
