About The Position

New Horizons is seeking an Associate Director to oversee employees in schools across 16 counties in Southeast Indiana. This is a field-based leadership role requiring regular travel to visit schools, meet with staff, and build relationships with school partners, students, families, employers, and community organizations. The position emphasizes community engagement and is not primarily office-based. Mileage reimbursement is provided. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to adapt to organizational and employee needs.

Requirements

Eighteen (18) years of age or older
High School Diploma or GED required
Valid Driver’s License
Extensive Travel Required to schools in 16 counties
Drug Test required
Background report and driving record required
TB test required

Nice To Haves

Some college preferred
One-year supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

Oversee employees in schools across 16 counties.
Regularly travel throughout Southeast Indiana to visit schools.
Meet with Career Coaches and Pre-ETS staff.
Build relationships with school partners, students, families, employers, and community organizations.
Be visible and engaged in the communities served.
