This role is responsible for acquiring and maintaining an understanding of all product offerings, reading and interpreting manufacturing orders, bills of materials (BOMs), and work instructions. The position requires maintaining an organized workstation in accordance with company safety, health, and environmental policies, and operating tools and equipment safely and efficiently. The Associate Production Custom Assembly Specialist I will participate in training, engage in cross-training for continuous development, manage inventory of assembly materials, and assist in validating new products and processes. The role also supports continuous improvement initiatives and may occasionally support cross-functional projects for other Cobra Puma Golf departments. Specific duties include measuring and adjusting club head loft and lie angles, operating specialized equipment, verifying club specifications, inspecting for defects, maintaining tight tolerances, retrieving and kitting manufacturing orders, labeling heads, shrink-wrapping, and performing rework as needed. In club assembly, the role involves safely assembling golf clubs according to specifications, performing various assembly tasks, measuring and verifying club specifications, identifying and reporting defects, and performing rework and repairs.
