About The Position
Oversee digital engineering projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline. Shape long-term plans, technology adoption strategies, and innovation initiatives to drive digital transformation. Provide technical leadership, guiding the team in best practices, optimizing development processes, and resolving technical challenges. Partner with senior leadership to define and execute the digital engineering strategy and roadmap in alignment with business objectives. Contribute to solution design and architecture, collaborating with product teams, architects, and senior engineers. Engage with key stakeholders, including business leaders, clients, and partners, to gather requirements, clarify expectations, and align priorities. Establish and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-performing, reliable digital solutions. Champion continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for enhancement, refining processes, and optimizing development workflows. Lead a few teams of software engineers, provide mentorship, foster professional growth, and ensure team effectiveness.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing engineers.
- 5+ years of experience independently managing deliverables.
- Experience leading software engineering teams, providing mentorship, fostering professional growth, and ensuring team effectiveness.
- 10+ years of experience designing and building software engineering solutions in cloud environments.
- 10+ years of experience with APIs, microservices, and modern software patterns.
- Experience contributing to solution design and architecture.
- 10+ years of experience in one or more modern languages such as: Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, SQL.
- 5+ years of soliciting complex requirements and managing relationships with key stakeholders.
- Experience engaging with business leaders, clients, partners, product teams, architects, and senior engineers.
- Experience providing technical leadership, guiding teams on best practices, optimizing development processes, and resolving technical challenges.
- Experience defining and executing digital engineering strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- US Citizen or Green Card holder.
Nice To Haves
- Strong communication skills, capable of effectively articulating technical and strategic concepts to multiple stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLM) and their practical applications in conversational AI.
- Experience developing and supporting voice and text chatbots.
