About The Position

Making Money with Charles Payne is looking for a talented, organized, and motivated Associate Producer with strong editorial judgment and a firm grasp of financial markets. As an Associate Producer, you will produce segments, create graphics, write banners and book compelling guests under intense deadline pressure for a live hour-long broadcast. You will need stellar communication skills and a desire to grow within the company.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field of study is preferred, or equivalent experience
• Thorough knowledge of the stock market, investing trends and business news
• 1+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of skills and demonstrated experience
• Ability to work under intense deadline pressure
• Strong editorial judgment
• Ability to create compelling graphics for air

Responsibilities

• Produce multiple segments that are graphic and banner intensive
• Book dynamic and compelling guests
• Pitch and execute creative and innovative ideas for segments and stories
• Work closely with Producers, Bookers and Production Assistants
• Participate in editorial planning of the show
