About The Position

Brown & Brown is seeking an ambitious Associate Producer to join its Sales Development Program. The role is suited to individuals interested in outside sales, business development, account management, recruiting, client relationship management, or insurance sales. The Associate Producer receives training, mentorship, and licensing support while learning to prospect, build client relationships, generate new business, and develop as a sales professional. The position offers a path to roles such as Account Executive, Producer, or Sales Executive.

Requirements

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Interest in sales, business development, account management, recruiting, or customer-facing roles.
Self-motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented.
Ability to obtain insurance licensing.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree or sales experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Prospect and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and community involvement.
Build relationships with business owners and decision-makers.
Conduct outreach through phone, email, LinkedIn, and networking events.
Learn consultative sales and client advisory techniques.
Develop and manage a sales pipeline using CRM technology.
Partner with experienced Account Executives and Producers on sales strategies and client acquisition.
