About The Position

The Prepared Foods Associate works in Joseph’s Classic Market’s Prepared Foods Department, which offers chef-prepared, restaurant-quality meals. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

Prior kitchen or food preparation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by sharing product knowledge, answering questions, and making personalized suggestions.
Maintain product freshness through regular rotation and quality checks.
Restock and rotate displays to maintain visual appeal and freshness.
Prepare salads and pack out soups, pastas, sauces, and other prepared foods.
Plate, package, and present items according to Joseph’s quality and appearance standards.
Package, label, and price self-service items accurately.
Follow food safety and sanitation protocols.
Operate basic counter equipment, including scales, knives, and other counter equipment.
Assist with other tasks as assigned.
