About The Position
Earth Fare Team Members help ensure customers have a fulfilling store visit by answering questions and meeting their shopping needs. The company’s mission is to help people live healthy lives, and Team Members guide customers toward trusted healthy food and wellbeing and household products that meet Earth Fare’s standards. The Prepared Foods Clerk delivers exceptional customer service and prepares food in department areas including deli, juice bar, pizza and sandwich, and hot bar. The role helps maintain an attractive sales floor, accurate signage and pricing, and a clean, sanitary, and organized department.
Nice To Haves
- Previous food preparation or cooking experience in a restaurant, bakery, or catering environment.
- Experience working in a retail or customer service-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service.
- Prepare food in the deli, juice bar, pizza and sandwich, and hot bar areas.
- Maintain an attractive sales floor according to Earth Fare merchandising guidelines as outlined by the Food Service Manager.
- Verify proper signage and pricing of department items.
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of department fixtures, storage areas, workstations, freezers, and coolers.
