About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) to join its National Branch in a frontline role. The position builds customer relationships through in-branch interactions, scheduled conversations, and proactive outreach, learning about customers’ goals and connecting them with appropriate banking products, services, and digital tools. The banker supports account openings, service requests, and credit applications while working with branch teammates to provide a consistent, high-quality customer experience. Success requires relationship-building, sound judgment, and balancing service with growth. Wells Fargo provides training and coaching to support career growth and mobility.

The role supports everyday banking needs and branch operations, including cash handling and teller line activities. The schedule includes Saturdays. SAFE registration is required at the time of employment, and Wells Fargo will initiate the process after the start date. Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and comply with Wells Fargo policies concerning financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background. A credit report may be reviewed, excluding credit score, and additional ongoing screening may apply. The position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship. Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination.
• Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.
• SAFE registration is required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo will initiate the process after the start date.
• Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo policies, including standards related to financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background.

• Perform cash handling and teller line activities, accurately processing transactions while maintaining compliance and operational standards.
• Use and adopt digital tools and technologies to enhance the customer experience and support evolving banking needs.
• Deliver accurate, compliant service while exercising sound judgment within defined risk controls.
• Collaborate with branch teammates and coordinate handoffs to licensed bankers or other specialists.
• Flex between cash handling and customer banking activities, with an emphasis on account openings and ongoing account support.
• Follow applicable risk and compliance programs, policies, and procedures; escalate and remediate issues as appropriate.
