About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) to join its National Branch at the World Golf Village location in Saint Augustine, Florida. In this frontline role, the banker builds customer relationships and supports everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, scheduled conversations, and proactive outreach. The banker learns about customers’ goals and connects them with suitable banking products, services, and digital tools to help them manage their finances. The role supports account openings, service requests, and credit applications, while collaborating with branch teammates to provide a consistent, high-quality customer experience. It calls for relationship-building, sound judgment, and the ability to balance customer service with growth. Wells Fargo provides training and coaching to support career growth and mobility. The work includes cash handling and teller line activities, with flexibility between those duties and customer banking activities. The schedule includes Saturdays. SAFE registration is required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo initiates the process after the employee’s start date. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent experience demonstrated through work, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.
SAFE registration is required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo initiates the registration process after the start date.
Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and comply with Wells Fargo policies, including standards related to financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background.
A credit report may be reviewed, excluding the credit score, and additional ongoing screening may apply.

Prior experience in financial services or a highly regulated, customer-facing role, with comfort following structured processes and meeting accuracy and service expectations.

Identify opportunities, promote solutions, and make appropriate referrals to support branch growth and customer and business goals.
Support everyday banking needs, including new account openings, service requests, and credit applications.
Handle cash and perform teller line activities, accurately processing transactions while maintaining compliance and operational standards.
Use and adopt digital tools and technologies to enhance the customer experience and support evolving banking needs.
Deliver accurate, compliant service and exercise sound judgment within defined risk controls.
Collaborate with branch teammates and coordinate handoffs to licensed bankers or other specialists.
Flex between cash handling and customer banking activities, emphasizing account openings and ongoing account support.
Follow applicable risk and compliance programs and policies, and escalate and remediate issues as appropriate.
