Requirements

  • Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current state optometry license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Experience using electronic health records.
  • Thoughtful, caring clinician who values meaningful patient connections.
  • Ability to create a calm, supportive experience from exam to follow-up.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enjoy educating patients, answering questions with patience and clarity.
  • Ability to partner with the team to ensure each person feels informed, comfortable, and genuinely cared for throughout their visit.
  • Optometry license in Texas.

Responsibilities

  • Providing comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages.
  • Performing eye examinations.
  • Diagnosing and managing vision problems and eye diseases.
  • Prescribing eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision correction solutions.
  • Educating patients on eye health, preventive care, and treatment options.
  • Partnering with the team to create a comfortable, positive patient experience.
  • Maintaining accurate, timely records.
