About The Position
An Independent Doctor of Optometry affiliated with Target Optical is seeking an Associate Optometrist. The Associate works within the practice of a Target Optical Subleasing Optometrist as an employee or contracted doctor. Luxottica operates the optical dispensary, while the affiliated doctor operates the doctor's office and provides optometric care and services to patients. The agreement terms, practice model, pay, and hours are negotiated directly between the Associate and the Subleasing Doctor. The practice offers professional autonomy and a full scope of practice based on the Associate's professional discretion and agreement with the Subleasing Doctor, without company-imposed restrictions or quotas. Flexible scheduling may be available, including part-time commitments or adding work to an existing practice schedule. Offices are fully furnished and equipped; some may provide Revolution EHR software and technical and pre-testing support. An automated online appointment book and patient recall system are also available.
