About The Position
An independent Doctor of Optometry affiliated with LensCrafters (Luxottica) seeks an Associate Optometrist. The associate works within the practice of a LensCrafters subleasing optometrist as an employee or contracted doctor. Luxottica operates the optical dispensary, while the affiliated doctor operates the doctor's office and provides optometric care and services to patients. The terms of agreement, practice model, pay, and hours are negotiated directly between the associate and the subleasing doctor. The practice offers professional autonomy and a full scope of practice based on the associate's professional discretion and agreement with the subleasing doctor, without company-imposed restrictions or quotas. Flexible scheduling may include part-time commitments or additional work alongside an existing practice schedule. Offices are furnished and equipped for optometry, with many using Clarifye digital eye examination technology; most offer Daytona Optomap Digital Retinal Imaging and full technician and pre-testing support. An automated online appointment book and patient recall system are also available. This posting is for an existing vacancy. Employee pay is determined by factors including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements. Responsibilities
