About The Position

The purpose of this position is to support and execute the marketing & sales strategies for both new and existing product categories on domestic and international online marketplaces by reaching and engaging consumers through digital commerce.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a closely related field
  • 2-4 years of experience of marketplace management of any of the following marketplaces: Mercado Libre, Walmart, Amazon is required
  • Analytical and strategically focused
  • Great attention to detail
  • Team Player with great project management skills
  • Excellent sense of urgency, personal time management and impeccable organization skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline driven environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Other online sales experience is a plus.
  • International online selling is a plus.
  • Prior web experience with Consumer Products is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Executes the overarching strategy of the online retail marketplaces for the Tweezerman and the Tweezerman Pet collection. This includes adding and removing products, merchandising, product information, promotions, inventory management, content related news, videos, events, recruitment, press, etc. as needed.
  • Oversees the go-to-market calendar to ensure on-site activations are being completed in a timely manner including product copy, banners, images, new product launches, item set-ups and that everything is compliant by retailer.
  • Communicates proper account set ups internally to ensure cross-functional collaboration across IT, Accounting, Operations, and Customer Service.
  • Ability to work in tandem with our online retail team to ensure one cohesive brand story and cross sell across multiple marketplaces.
  • Assists in the management of outside agencies to ensure deliverables are handed off in a timely manner.
  • Ability to be entrepreneurial and find unique solutions for new business opportunities.
  • Creates sales reports on a weekly basis and shares with the director of online retail and web, and creates monthly reports to share with our brand, international, digital content, and sales teams.
  • Ability to work cross functionally across many different departments.
  • Analyze sales data to pivot strategies based off sales trend & respond to the consumer needs based off the data.
  • Creates strategic promotions that brings customers to the site while keeping in mind profitability.
  • Monitors and maintains the inventory at marketplace warehouses to ensure each marketplace has ample stock.
  • Focused on improving retention rate on site to positively impact the customer experience.
  • Actively look for new online marketplaces and present the opportunities to upper management.
  • Consistently improve our seller ratings while driving positive product reviews.
  • Reviews SEO optimizations and executes this across our retailer network.
