Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, eCommerce, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in e-commerce, marketplace management, retail technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of management experience in digital storefront operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Excellent leadership and team-building capabilities.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced digital environment.
  • Detail-oriented with robust organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and influence decision-making.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree (MBA or advanced degree).
  • Experience with eMarketplace advertising and PPC campaign management.
  • Familiarity with automation tools and AI-driven marketplace analytics.
  • Knowledge of fulfillment strategies and supply chain logistics for online retail.
  • Prior experience in a high-growth eCommerce environment.
  • Experience managing major online marketplaces such as Amazon 3P is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of the strategy for Staples’ Marketplace business.
  • Build a new channel, optimize sales performance, and manage key marketplace relationships while driving operational excellence to scale the business.
  • Analyze market trends, identify new product opportunities, and optimize listings and promotions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer experience.
  • Manage and grow Staples’ Marketplace account.
  • Troubleshoot seller performance issues and develop account-specific growth plans.
  • Leverage data insights to drive process improvements, conduct competitive analysis, and adjust pricing strategies.
  • Build and mentor a team of eMarketplace specialists and analysts, fostering a collaborative culture focused on marketplace optimization and compliance.
