About The Position

The Associate Nurse Manager (ANM) assists the Nurse Manager in leading a team of care providers to deliver patient-focused care through the integrated skills of all care team members. The ANM promotes a healthy work environment that encourages collaboration, enthusiasm, and mutual respect. Care is provided using the Nursing Professional Practice Model and is directed toward positive patient outcomes, patient and family involvement in care planning, increased efficiency, and reduced costs.

The ANM assists with planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating patient care operations for designated areas on a 24-hour basis as required. Under the Nurse Manager’s guidance, the ANM helps manage, guide, coach, and evaluate the work performance of patient care staff. The role contributes to the ongoing operations of the Nursing Department, helps operationalize the Medical Center’s mission, vision, values, and goals, and supports the nursing professional practice model. Ongoing collaboration with other departments and areas that relate directly or indirectly to patient care operations and services is essential.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Registered Nurse.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

• 4–8 years of relevant experience preferred.
