About The Position

The Associate, Non-Self-Sustaining Advisor will be responsible for creating comprehensive wealth management plans for ultra-high net worth individuals and families, predominantly based in Mexico, as well as select institutions. This role involves formulating and expressing investment views, fielding client questions in English and Spanish, and outlining the firm's investment thesis across all global asset classes. The position requires working one-on-one with clients to deliver customized strategies, supporting existing relationships, and sourcing new business opportunities. The advisor will also deliver an unparalleled investment platform, including tax and estate planning, philanthropic planning, and private banking/lending services, and create asset allocation strategies and holistic wealth advisory recommendations.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role.
  • One (1) year of experience (with a Master’s) or three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelor’s) with: growing client base and expanding revenues for a project or venture.
  • One (1) year of experience (with a Master’s) or three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelor’s) with: networking with ultra-high net worth individuals, scheduling meetings with potential investors, and building relationships in the process.
  • One (1) year of experience (with a Master’s) or three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelor’s) with: raising capital from investors in Mexico and LatAM.
  • One (1) year of experience (with a Master’s) or three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelor’s) with: managing the operations and logistics of a venture.
  • One (1) year of experience (with a Master’s) or three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelor’s) with: financial and Cash management.
  • One (1) year of experience (with a Master’s) or three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelor’s) with: holding investor calls to update on the status of a venture or investment.
  • Fluency in Spanish required.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time to Mexico.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with public equities, fixed income, option derivative securities, foreign currencies, hedge funds, real estate, private equity and bank lending.
  • Experience with tax and estate planning, philanthropic planning and private banking and lending services.
