About The Position

The Associate Marketing Manager will develop and implement marketing plans that align with Cengage's goals, collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver results through alignment, and analyze market trends to determine strategic opportunities. The role involves implementing and managing innovative marketing strategies, supporting internal and external communications through technology, and providing effective support to the marketing team to help achieve objectives.
Requirements
- BS or BA in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in market analysis and strategy development
- Self-motivated with a strong focus on responsiveness
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Positive, collaborative approach with strong interpersonal skills
- Passion for digital education and positive customer outcomes
- Experience with B2B and B2C marketing
- Ability to lead cross-functional or group projects
- Experience optimizing and automating marketing processes and campaigns
Nice To Haves
- Multiple years of experience in marketing roles
- Practical experience with eCommerce and online customer acquisition strategies
- Proficiency with Salesforce Pardot, Amplitude, Google Analytics, and WordPress
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and email service platforms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of government education funding
