About The Position

The New Verticals team at DoorDash is focused on expanding beyond restaurant delivery to offer customers a wider range of goods. The Fulfillment and Logistics team within this division is responsible for onboarding merchants, ensuring efficient and accurate order fulfillment, and optimizing the logistics network. This involves identifying efficiencies, developing product tools, and implementing scalable operational processes. The Associate Manager will be responsible for key metrics, operational and product levers, and driving results across Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol, and Retail businesses. The Strategy & Operations team combines strategic thinking, analytical problem-solving, and operational execution to identify opportunities, develop solutions, and drive business impact for New Verticals. This role involves cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning, and Operations. The Associate Manager will drive the strategy and execution for building reliable, scalable Dasher supply and tools for all New Verticals offerings. This could include attracting more Dashers, developing in-store tools and technology, and ensuring optimal supply availability. Initiatives will focus on improving the end-to-end Dasher in-store experience and supply strategies to make shopping more efficient, intuitive, and rewarding. There may also be opportunities to work on merchant enablement and CPG partnerships. The role reports to a Senior Manager on the New Verticals Strategy & Operations team and is an individual contributor position. The company operates on a hybrid model, with a few days per month spent in person. Two Associate Manager positions are available, and candidates will be considered for both roles during the interview process.
