$105,400 - $155,000Remote

About The Position

The New Verticals team, launched in 2020, has expanded DoorDash's marketplace beyond restaurants to include grocery, convenience, alcohol, retail, and DashMart stores, establishing DoorDash as the #1 third-party marketplace for grocery and retail in the US. Within New Verticals, the Consumer Strategy & Operations team focuses on building consumer growth levers. The Pricing & Affordability team specifically aims to redefine value in delivery, making DoorDash the smartest and most affordable place to shop. The pricing, fee, and savings systems are crucial for customer acquisition and retention. This role involves sharp, quantitative thinking about pricing and investment strategies. As an Associate Manager, you will be the primary owner of pricing strategy and its use as a growth lever, with a focus on fee structure and affordability. You will collaborate with Finance, Analytics, and Product teams to build pricing models, forecast impacts, design A/B tests, and launch new fee structures. This is a high-visibility individual contributor role reporting to a Senior Manager, situated at the intersection of strategy, operations, and finance, with analyses influencing decisions reaching millions of customers. The role emphasizes rapid idea generation, metric ownership, product vision development, complex analysis synthesis, rigorous testing, and leveraging AI to enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will actively explore AI tools, automate workflows, and find innovative ways to expedite tasks.

  • Enjoy ambiguity and break messy, open-ended problems down from first principles into clear plans, taking responsibility for moving things forward.
  • Thrive on analytical tasks, building models and forecasts from scratch.
  • Completed Bachelor's Degree.
