About The Position

Bowman and Brooke LLP is seeking a motivated Associate to join its Product Liability Practice Group in the Costa Mesa, California office. The firm handles high-stakes product liability and complex litigation for major companies across industries including automotive, pharmaceutical, consumer products, and medical devices. The role offers hands-on case responsibility in a fast-paced, high-volume practice, with mentorship and opportunities to develop toward partnership.

The Associate will handle day-to-day case development, including depositions, client communications, collaboration with technical experts, discovery, and drafting and arguing motions. The role also supports partners with strategic litigation planning and trial preparation and execution. This is a hybrid position with remote and in-office workdays.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) or foreign equivalent from an accredited law school.
• Active member of the California Bar or ability to become a member of the California Bar.
• At least 3 years of litigation experience.
• Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills.
• High degree of independence and initiative.
