About The Position

Flaherty Sensabaugh Bonasso PLLC is seeking a full-time Associate Litigation Attorney for its Charleston, West Virginia office. The firm focuses on high-stakes, complex litigation and seeks an attorney with a background in mass litigation, including multidistrict litigation (MDL), class actions, and complex product liability or consumer claims. The role involves managing a high-volume caseload with precision and efficiency in a collaborative, professional environment.

Requirements

J.D. from an accredited law school.
Active membership in good standing with the West Virginia Bar.
2–3+ years of litigation experience, with a strong emphasis on mass litigation.
Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive, detail-oriented approach and ability to manage a high-volume caseload.

Nice To Haves

Experience with MDLs, class actions, or large-scale product liability litigation is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Handle litigation matters from pre-suit investigation through trial and appeal.
Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery.
Conduct and defend depositions.
Develop case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys.
Attend hearings, mediations, and trials.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members.
