About The Position
Flaherty Sensabaugh Bonasso PLLC is a dynamic law firm with a strong focus on high-stakes, complex litigation. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional legal representation while fostering a collaborative and professional work environment. We are currently seeking a full-time Associate Litigation Attorney located in our Charleston, WV office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling mass litigation matters, including multidistrict litigation (MDL), class actions, and complex product liability or consumer claims. This role requires someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing a high-volume caseload with precision and efficiency.
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active and in good standing with the West Virginia Bar
- 2-3+ years of litigation experience, with a strong emphasis on mass litigation
- Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Nice To Haves
- Experience with MDLs, class actions, or large-scale product liability litigation strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Handle all aspects of litigation, from pre-suit investigation through trial and appeal
- Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Conduct and defend depositions
- Develop case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys
- Attend hearings, mediations, and trials
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members
