Associate Lawyer – Labour & Employment
About The Position
Stewart McKelvey is seeking a Labour & Employment Lawyer to join their growing team in Halifax, NS. This role is part of Atlantic Canada’s largest Labour & Employment Group, known for its nationally recognized practitioners. The team advises a diverse range of clients, from provincial to international, in both private and public sectors, on all workplace issues for both non-union and unionized clients. Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ Labour & Employment Law experience.
- Experience in Employment Law.
- Experience in Labour Law.
- Experience in Workplace investigations.
- Experience in Human rights.
- Experience in Occupational health and safety.
- Experience in Pension and benefits.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Member in good standing with a Canadian Law Society.
Nice To Haves
- Experience practicing in an Ontario market.
Responsibilities
