About The Position

The Associate I, Retail Sales Floor ensures the sales floor is well stocked, organized, clean, and presentable. The role involves bringing processed clothing to the sales floor, merchandising and refreshing products, and assisting customers with responsive, excellent service. The associate also helps maintain clean restrooms, supports production by communicating floor needs to the manager on duty, and may be cross-trained or asked to back up other departments. Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed productivity standards and key performance indicators for assigned duties.
• Price items according to Goodwill standards of quality and value, researching item value online or using company tools when appropriate.
• Keep the sales floor clean and organized by cleaning shelves and racks, picking items up, putting away products, and returning unwanted or returned items to their proper locations.
• Merchandise products to standards, including categorizing, colorizing, and sizing; make decisions about product placement to improve the shopping experience and increase sales.
• Communicate targeted sales-floor product needs to the manager on duty to assist production.
• Provide customer service to customers and staff, follow the 10-foot rule, and answer product questions as needed.
• Rotate or remove old or unsold products in a timely manner to refresh product selection.
• Identify and pull E-Commerce products from the sales floor.
• Follow retail center policies, procedures, and safety processes.
• Cross-train in other departments or areas and provide backup as required.
• Maintain the overall cleanliness of the sales floor and restrooms.
