About The Position

FIS is seeking an Associate I, Account Services, described in the role overview as a Statement Processing Associate I. The position performs bulk-file, cycle-set-up, and manual statement-rendering duties for various banks. It is onsite at the FIS facility in Canton, Massachusetts, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. EST. The role requires working one weekend per month, and overtime opportunities are available.

Requirements

Ability to lift and carry trays and envelopes weighing up to 40 pounds.
Considerable knowledge of statement processing.
Experience operating mail machines.
Ability to perform calculations using a calculator.
Proficient written and verbal communication skills when working with employees and external customers or clients.

Responsibilities

Prepare cycles for manual and/or automated enclosing by sorting rejects, working direct fine sort reports, and manually filing rejects.
Handle special processing for various banks.
Manually render enclosure and non-enclosure statements using appropriate marketing inserts and envelopes.
Prepare bulk items to be sorted at statement cycle time.
File bulk-file items within stationary and movable storage units.
Perform physical searches using systems to determine item locations for rejects and lost items.
Work snag statements before sending them to customers.
Kick off image statements at selected data centers, resolve snags, and complete the process by sending statements to print.
Prepare truncation for pickup and delivery to an alternate storage site for storage or shredding.
Perform necessary quality checks throughout the statement and notice process.
Answer questions and address concerns from internal and, when applicable, external customers.
