About The Position

This is a part-time position with rotating shifts in the Nutrition Services department at West Hospital. The role involves preparing, plating, serving, and transporting food and supplies to ensure high satisfaction for patients, family members, physicians, team members, and the public. Key responsibilities include timely and accurate service, maintaining sanitation, cleaning, and infection control practices for food safety, and operating various food service and computer equipment.

Requirements

• No experience is required.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment.
• Must be able to wear protective equipment/clothing (gowns, gloves, goggles, rubber-soled closed-toe footwear, etc.).
• Adherence to local health regulations and safety requirements for food production.
• Ability to climb ladders.
• Physical requirements include reaching, standing for long periods, squatting, bending, carrying, and lifting supplies and equipment weighing 35 lbs. or more, up to 80% of the time.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• Prior food service experience.
