About The Position

Job Description Mercy Fitzgerald, a member of Trinity Health, Mid-Atlantic, is looking for a full time Transporter to join our Central Transport team! Employment Type: Part Time Shift: Rotating Shifts, 24hrs/wk. based on department needs, must be available weekends and holidays as needed. Job Description: Responsible for the transporting of patients throughout the hospital with appropriate equipment and in a safe and in a timely manner. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting proper mode of “transportation” Maintains Patient Safety in Preparation For Transport To Ancillary Areas As Well As Upon Return To Unit Demonstrates Proper Infection Control Practices and Precautions in All Patient Care Activities

Requirements

• HS Diploma or Equivalent
• Prior Hospital Transport experience preferred
• AHA BLS

Nice To Haves

• Prior Hospital Transport experience preferred
