Associate Financial Analyst
About The Position
The Associate Financial Analyst works under close supervision to compile financial information needed for department budgets and analysis, ensuring the information is complete and accurate. The role prepares timely and accurate analyses of business-area financial information, including reports comparing actual performance with budgets and estimates. The position is based in GAC Savannah, has no travel, and is on the first shift. A credit history check from a national credit bureau will be conducted for candidates, including new hires and current employees seeking promotion or transfer. The employee must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential job functions.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

- Power Query experience.
- Power BI experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist department and financial management in collecting financial data for annual budgets and projections.
- Prepare timely and accurate analyses and reports comparing actual financial performance with budgets and forecasts.
- Compile financial information to develop budgets, identify causes of major variances, and ensure actual data is accurate.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
