About The Position

Under close supervision, the Associate Financial Analyst compiles financial information needed for department budgets and analysis, ensuring completeness and accuracy. The role prepares timely, accurate analysis of business-area financial information, including reports comparing actual performance with budgets and estimates. A credit history check from a national credit bureau will be conducted for candidates, including new hires and current employees seeking promotion or transfer. The position requires the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Successful completion of a credit history check from a national credit bureau.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Power Query and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Assist department and financial management in collecting financial data for annual budgets and projections.
• Prepare accurate and timely analyses and reports comparing actual financial performance with budgets and forecasts.
• Compile financial information to develop budgets, identify causes of major variances, and ensure the accuracy of actual data.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
