We're seeking an associate attorney to join our Family Law Practice Group in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active South Dakota license.
• One+ year of family law or litigation experience.
• Strong litigation, negotiation, and client advocacy skills.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational abilities.
• A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional client service.

Nice To Haves

• Nebraska and/or Iowa licensure is a plus.
• A portable book of business or established referral network is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a family law caseload from consultation through resolution.
• Represent clients in divorce, custody, child support, modifications, and other domestic relations matters.
• Advocate for clients in mediations, negotiations, hearings, and trials.
• Draft pleadings, motions, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Develop practical legal strategies and deliver outstanding client service.
• Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas to provide comprehensive legal solutions.
• Participate in business development, networking, and community involvement to grow the practice.
