About The Position

i2G Systems is seeking an Associate Project Manager for an introductory project management role in the technology security sector. The associate will support experienced Project Managers on large-scale project scopes and independently manage smaller-scale security installations and service deployments. The role coordinates local engineering, sales, technical teams, subcontractors, and customers to support smooth operations and high-quality delivery throughout the project lifecycle.

The position includes project tracking, schedule and materials monitoring, status and risk reporting, project documentation and inventory, and assistance with closeout packages and drawing updates. The associate will also learn to support integration engineers with programming electronic security systems and to interpret basic security, electrical, and civil drawings. The role further collaborates with sales and engineering teams on proposals and change orders.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of foundational experience in the electronic security systems industry, construction coordination, or a related technical support role.
• Basic familiarity with electronic security platforms such as Lenel, Verint, Axis, Commend, DMP, and fire alarm systems is highly desired.
• Ability to learn and interpret security blueprints, electrical drawings, and civil construction plans.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to successfully pass a background investigation.
• Valid driver's license required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with project scheduling and planning tools such as Microsoft Project, SimPro, or Smartsheet.
• Introductory training or certifications in Lenel, Axis, Software House, Verint, or similar security platforms.
• Interest in pursuing project management certifications such as CAPM or PMP.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with tracking project lifecycles, maintaining schedules, monitoring material needs, and preparing job status and risk mitigation reports.
• Manage smaller-scale security integration projects, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and to i2G Systems' quality standards.
• Coordinate and communicate with i2G teams, technicians, subcontractors, and customers.
• Maintain accurate project equipment inventory and project folders; assist with red-line drawing updates and final closeout packages.
• Learn to support integration engineers as they program access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV systems.
• Learn to read and interpret basic security system drawings and electrical and civil drawing packages.
• Assist sales and engineering teams with project proposals and change orders.
