About The Position

i2G Systems is seeking an Associate Electronic Security Project Manager for an introductory project management role in the technology security sector. The role supports experienced Project Managers on large-scale project scopes and independently manages smaller-scale security installations and service deployments. The Associate Project Manager coordinates with local engineering, sales, technical teams, subcontractors, and customers to support daily operations and deliver projects that meet stakeholder expectations and i2G quality standards.

The position includes tracking project schedules and materials, preparing job status and risk mitigation reports, maintaining project documentation and equipment inventory, and assisting with drawings and closeout packages. The Associate Project Manager will learn to support electronic security system programming and interpret basic security, electrical, and civil drawings. The role also assists sales and engineering with proposals and change orders.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of foundational experience in electronic security systems, construction coordination, or a related technical support role.
• Ability to learn and interpret security blueprints, electrical drawings, and civil construction plans.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational abilities, and attention to detail.
• Ability to pass a background investigation.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to meet and maintain certifications, licenses, and registrations required by applicable state laws and electronic security regulations.
• Willingness to participate in and pass the company's pre-employment screening, including background investigation and drug screening.
• If travel requirements apply, ability to maintain a safe driving record and valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• Basic familiarity with electronic security platforms such as Lenel, Verint, Axis, Commend, DMP, and fire alarm systems.
• Experience with project scheduling and planning tools such as Microsoft Project, SimPro, or Smartsheet.
• Introductory training or certifications in Lenel, Axis, Software House, Verint, or similar security platforms.
• Interest in pursuing project management certifications such as CAPM or PMP.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with tracking project lifecycles, maintaining schedules, monitoring material needs, and preparing job status and risk mitigation reports.
• Manage smaller-scale security integration projects to meet schedule, budget, and i2G quality standards.
• Coordinate communication among i2G teams, technicians, subcontractors, and customers.
• Maintain project equipment inventory and project folders, and assist with updated red-line drawings and final closeout packages.
• Learn to work with integration engineers as they program access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV systems.
• Learn to read and interpret basic security system drawings and electrical and civil drawing packages.
• Assist sales and engineering teams with project proposals and change orders.
