About The Position

Penrose Place is seeking an Associate Director to supervise all aspects of the Recovery-based LTSR Program. This role involves managing referrals, resident assignments, electronic health records, and therapeutic program design. The Associate Director will also be responsible for budget reporting, staff recruitment, training, and coordinating nursing and psychiatry components. This position requires a strong understanding of evidence-based practices and ongoing staff training in Recovery principles.

Requirements

  • A Master’s Degree in one of the Social Sciences
  • At least five years supervisory experience
  • Two years of management of a residential site
  • Excellent assessment and communication skills
  • Ability to work with outside agencies and regulatory officials
  • Acceptable PA criminal history, FBI clearance and Child Abuse clearance done prior to hire

Responsibilities

  • Supervise all aspects of the Recovery-based LTSR Program
  • Order equipment, furniture and therapeutic materials within the allocated budget
  • Screening and assessment of new referrals from outside facilities
  • Assignment of new residents to Primary Therapist and Psychiatrists
  • Maintenance of daily electronic health records by all LTSR staff
  • Routine auditing of Electronic Health Records in coordination with Quality improvement and MIS team
  • Responsible for ensuring that all resident records and healthcare information is always kept strictly confidential and protected
  • Act as liaison between LTSR and inter/intra agency communications
  • Design and implement all aspects of the LTSR Therapeutic Recovery Program
  • Formulate and submit quarterly budget reports
  • Interview new candidates for recruiting purposes in conjunction with CATCH HR Department
  • Monitor staff trainings and education on a monthly ongoing basis
  • Coordinate all nursing and psychiatry components of the program
  • Oversee that LTSR Staff/Treatment Team receive Recovery training on an ongoing basis and that all in-services given are evidence-based practices
  • All other duties as assigned by the Mental Health Director
