Associate Director, Vendor and Service Management Pharmacist

Eli Lilly and Company•Us, IN

About The Position

Lilly is seeking an experienced pharmacist to own third-party vendor relationships and manage service performance supporting LillyDirect Pharmacy. The role establishes and maintains service-level and key performance indicator frameworks, conducts recurring service reviews, and drives remediation when agreed performance levels are not met. It works with Procurement and Legal on contract governance and collaborates with pharmacy operations, quality, technology, and other teams as LillyDirect scales its direct-to-patient operating model. Because vendor and service failures can affect patients, this pharmacist evaluates performance in relation to prescription accuracy and patient safety and retains licensed capacity to verify prescriptions when needed. The position translates service data into leadership reporting, supports contract and budget planning, and partners with quality, regulatory, and risk functions on pharmacy records, deviation documentation, and inspection readiness. The role also contributes to workflow and systems improvements that support efficient pharmacy operations and better patient care. Work is scheduled Monday through Friday according to the pharmacy scheduler. The position requires at least three days onsite each week, with up to two days remote when appropriate and consistent with Lilly's remote work policy.
