Student Engagement and Belonging (SEB) is a department within the Division of Student Affairs led by the Director and supported by an Associate Director and an Assistant Director. SEB foregrounds belonging as a foundational element of an engaging campus life and student experience. SEB advances this mission by fostering student involvement, leadership development, identity exploration, cultural competence, community connection, and civil dialogue. SEB supports a vibrant campus life through the Associated Students of Westminster (ASW), Registered Student Organizations (RSOs), cultural and identity-based programming, first generation student initiatives, staff-led and student-led programming, and New Student Orientation. Reporting directly to the Director of SEB, the Associate Director serves as a senior operational and programmatic leader within the department. The Associate Director provides leadership for student engagement operations, RSO management, student staff supervision, departmental processes, assessment and reporting support, and assigned initiatives that advance belonging, leadership development, and student success. The Associate Director also supports assigned projects in New Student Orientation, student center management, staff-led programs, student-led programs, and student development initiatives.
