About The Position

Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business (RCB) is a large business school with a strong reputation for its undergraduate, MBA, and Executive MBA programs. The college has significant ties to Atlanta's business community. RCB Career Management Services is expanding and seeking an Associate Director - Strategic Partnerships & Immersive Programs (Temp) to lead student engagement and program management for immersive programs. This role operates under the direction of the Director of Strategic Partnerships and Immersive Programs and is supported by a program manager. The position is temporary with the potential for future conversion to a full-time role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and five years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary operational coordinator supporting Strategic Partnerships and Immersive Programs initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, implementation schedules, action-item trackers, and operational work plans.
  • Coordinate deliverables across multiple programs and stakeholders.
  • Monitor project milestones and identify potential risks, competing priorities, or resource conflicts.
  • Facilitate internal coordination meetings and maintain action-item documentation.
  • Manage shared departmental calendars and key milestone schedules.
  • Support annual planning processes and implementation tracking.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, operating procedures, templates, and implementation guides.
  • Coordinate project activities involving faculty, staff, students, employers, alumni, vendors, and partners.
  • Lead logistical planning and operational execution for a broad range of Strategic Partnerships and Immersive Programs activities.
  • Develop and manage event work plans and implementation schedules.
  • Coordinate room reservations, transportation, catering, registration, vendors, supplies, signage, and program materials.
  • Create run-of-show documents, staffing plans, speaker briefs, and event communications.
  • Support on-campus and off-campus events including: Panther Immersion Programs activities, RISE activities, CampusBridge onboarding and facilities support, Partner-sponsored events, VIP campus visits, Alumni engagement events, and Departmental case competitions and events.
  • Provide real-time event management and troubleshooting support.
  • Assist with expense tracking, purchasing coordination, invoice processing, and budget reconciliation.
  • Support operational execution of student-facing immersive learning initiatives, including Panther Immersion Programs, RISE, and CampusBridge, and Strategic Partner talent recruitment activities.
  • Coordinate student communications and outreach.
  • Support information sessions and recruitment events.
  • Coordinate application review logistics and interview scheduling.
  • Manage participant records and event registration processes.
  • Coordinate student onboarding and pre-program requirements.
  • Assist in preparing itineraries, schedules, participant materials, resume books, and event resources.
  • Support travel logistics and coordination for Panther Immersion Programs experiences.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student participation.
  • Provide operational support to partner, sponsor, alumni, and university stakeholders.
  • Coordinate meetings and stakeholder communications.
  • Support preparation of presentations, reports, proposals, and briefing materials.
  • Track partnership-related activities and implementation commitments.
  • Support partner recognition and stewardship activities.
  • Coordinate logistics for employer visits and partner-sponsored events.
  • Assist with proposal implementation and partnership launch activities.
  • Support invoicing, documentation, and partnership reporting activities.
  • Support data integrity, assessment, and operational reporting.
  • Maintain student, host, partner, alumni, and program records.
  • Support survey administration and data collection.
  • Compile participation and outcome data for reporting purposes.
  • Maintain alumni engagement databases.
  • Assist with dashboard and report preparation.
  • Monitor data quality across various systems and trackers.
  • Recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Coordinate and supervise student assistants, graduate assistants, and volunteers supporting Strategic Partnerships and Immersive Programs activities.
  • Delegate project and event-related tasks.
  • Monitor completion of assignments.
  • Develop task schedules and work priorities.
  • Train student workers on administrative processes and event support responsibilities.
  • Ensure quality and consistency of student worker deliverables.
