About The Position

This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the year-round training and conditioning of the Men’s Basketball team and other assigned sports teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and/or Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Association.
• First Aid/ CPR / AED Certified.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing proper use of weight room facility in the Dunn Center while supervising student athletes.
• Assess student athletes regarding strength and flexibility needs.
• Discuss proper nutrition needs and practices.
• Write and implement individual training programs for athletes and the Men’s Basketball, and other assigned sports teams.
• Work with Director of Sports Performance to assign coaches and teams to weightlifting time blocks.
• Oversee, stock, and manage fueling station in Dunn Center.
• Other duties as assigned.
