About The Position

The Associate Director of Partnerships for the Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC) leads and oversees business opportunities with sponsors and research partners to optimize the utilization of GRC services. The role provides leadership to senior consultants and specialized staff who exercise significant independence in their work, and serves as the primary engagement point of contact to anticipate and clarify customer needs, define project scope, and apply GRC services and relationships with health systems and colleges of medicine to achieve sponsor goals.

Requirements

  • A minimum of seven years of relevant experience required.
  • Requires successful completion of a background check.
  • Selected candidate may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Developing new business partnerships while nurturing and strengthening existing organizational relationships.
  • Guiding and managing processes to establish successful organization-wide relationship engagement.
  • Advising the GRC leadership team regarding development opportunities and the cultivation of partner relationships.
  • Leading the development and implementation of plans to ensure alignment with the GRC’s and partners’ strategic goals and cross-functional coordination.
  • Developing strong business rapport with partner liaisons to identify improvement opportunities and manage problem resolution.
  • Guiding internal and external stakeholders to continually improve and strengthen business relationships to meet customers’ needs.
  • Meeting goals such as growing or retaining partner engagements or attaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Providing oversight for existing requests and presents proposals for new solutions and services to clients.
  • Providing guidance to faculty and staff in pursuit of new partner engagement opportunities.
  • Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, policies and sponsor requirements related to GRC’s services and health services research.
