The United States Military Academy (USMA) is renowned as the world's preeminent leadership development institution. Located on the banks of the Hudson River in West Point, NY, it is approximately one hour from New York City. The mission of USMA is "to educate, train, and inspire the Corps of Cadets so that each graduate is a commissioned leader of character committed to the values of Duty, Honor, Country and prepared for a career of professional excellence and service to the Nation as an officer in the United States Army." This position will be housed within The West Point Association of Graduates (WPAOG) and is partnered with the Army West Point Athletic Association, Inc. (AWPAA), which is a non-profit corporation organized to manage and support the 30 intercollegiate athletic programs at the Academy. The mission of the West Point Association of Graduates (WPAOG) is to 'Serve West Point and the Long Gray Line'. WPAOG is both the alumni association and foundation for the United States Military Academy (USMA) at West Point. The vision is to ensure the Long Gray Line remains the most highly connected alumni body in the world. USMA is renowned as the world's preeminent leadership development institution. The student body, or Corps of Cadets, numbers 4,400, and each year approximately 1,000 cadets graduate and are commissioned as second lieutenants in the U.S. Army. In partnership with the Army West Point Athletic Association, Inc. (AWPAA), The West Point Association of Graduates (WPAOG) is seeking an Associate Director of Donor Stewardship. The Associate Director of Donor Stewardship will support and report to the Assistant Athletics Director of Army A Club and will be responsible for the planning and execution of Army West Point Athletics, Army A Club, and sport-specific donor events throughout the year. Examples of events are: Football Gameday (Hudson River Cruise, Welcome Breakfast, Cadet Review/Parade, Pre- and Post-game SUPT and AD tailgates, Army-Navy tailgates (Basketball & Lacrosse), AD Circle Trip, Donor Trips, events for designated Away Football Game, and others. In addition, this position will act as a liaison between the Army Ticket Office, AWPAA, WPAOG, United States Military Academy Protocol Office, Marketing, Internal Operations Department, as well as others, to ensure and maintain a collaborative, positive working relationship with these key group's allocation. This position will be charged with making both specified and implied decisions in an ever-changing environment.
