RFG Advisory•Tampa, FL

About The Position

RFG Advisory is seeking an Associate Director of Business Development to generate and qualify leads for its independent financial advisor platform. The role owns a defined book of outbound campaigns, channels, and target accounts in wealth management, conducts proactive outreach, and supports the National Director with deal pull-through and closing activity. It is a relationship-driven, production-oriented position intended for someone with financial services business development experience who is interested in growing toward a National Director role. The position is remote. Employees who reside in Birmingham, Alabama, may work a hybrid schedule. The role collaborates with marketing and RevOps on outreach initiatives, uses CRM and industry data platforms to manage and research prospects, and leverages AI and automation to improve outreach and follow-up. Compensation is a $90,000–$95,000 salary, with a bonus pool and uncapped commission opportunities.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with HubSpot CRM, or ability to demonstrate rapid adoption of the platform.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for advisor-facing outreach, follow-up, and relationship development.
  • Self-directed approach and ability to own a full book of business.
  • Production-oriented mindset focused on pipeline contribution and qualified leads, not activity volume alone.
  • Ability to collaborate with marketing, RevOps, and the National Director while remaining accountable for individual outcomes.
  • Demonstrated interest in a long-term career in business development and relationship management within wealth management.
  • Coachable and prepared, with the ability to own misses and adjust quickly.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proficiency with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Microsoft Copilot.
