About The Position

This is a hybrid role based in Seattle, WA, requiring at least two days per week in the office. The position involves some travel for industry events and in-person pitches. The Associate Director of Brokerage Partnerships will lead the development of a new partnership channel for brokerages, turning a strategic concept into a repeatable revenue-generating model. The role reports to the Head of Sales & Success and collaborates with the SVP of Growth & Marketing and the GTM leadership team. The individual will manage a portfolio of existing brokerage accounts, build relationships to unlock their potential, and secure new partnerships through proof-of-concept agreements. This role requires a blend of sales, strategy, and building capabilities, with a focus on navigating ambiguity and driving results in a high-growth startup environment. The company views itself as a championship team aiming to dominate the U.S. rental platform market.

Requirements

  • 5 to 7 years of sales, business development, or partnerships experience, ideally in proptech, real estate SaaS, or a channel-focused role.
  • Proven ability to build trust with senior leaders, capable of adapting communication from brief pitches to in-depth strategy sessions.
  • Results-driven execution with a focus on outcomes and a disciplined approach to turning insights into action.
  • Experience in a high-growth startup environment with a builder's mindset, comfortable creating processes rather than just following them.
  • Proficiency in using AI tooling to enhance productivity and competitive edge.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the Sales Motion End-to-End: Own a book of premier brokerage accounts, deepening executive sponsorship, uncovering expansion opportunities, and turning them into flagship proof points. Run the full new-logo motion including target account identification, outbound prospecting, discovery, pitching, negotiation, and closing with senior brokerage decision-makers. Establish and manage proof-of-concept partnerships from initiation to launch, developing a repeatable land-and-expand playbook. Engage directly with prospects, partners, and internal teams on a daily basis.
  • Own Pipeline & Deliver Revenue: Carry an individual quota for acquisition and activation targets. Build and manage a healthy pipeline from initial outreach to signed agreement and successful launch. Drive brokerages to full adoption and measurable expansion post-acquisition, as this is crucial for revenue generation. Apply a fail-fast, learn-fast approach to deals, experimenting with new strategies and iterating based on outcomes.
  • Partner Cross-Functionally: Collaborate with Partnership Managers and the First Voice team to ensure successful adoption, activation, and expansion of signed brokerages. Work with Marketing on brokerage-specific messaging, campaigns, and enablement materials. Partner with Product to communicate brokerage needs and influence the product roadmap. Provide field insights to GTM leadership to refine strategy. Represent RentSpree at industry events and in-person pitches.
  • Build the Foundation for Scale: Design sales processes, select appropriate tooling, and develop playbooks to support the growth of the brokerage channel. Document learnings from conversations, objections, and successes to facilitate future deals. Utilize AI tooling to enhance efficiency and speed.
