About The Position

The Associate Director of Admissions & Enrollment provides strategic and operational leadership for graduate recruitment and admissions while partnering with the University’s centralized Office of Admission to support undergraduate business enrollment goals at the Daniels College of Business. Reporting to the Executive Director of Admissions & Enrollment, this role helps develop and execute integrated enrollment strategies designed to achieve institutional enrollment goals, strengthen applicant pipelines, and enhance the College’s market position across degree programs. The Associate Director oversees key operational components of recruitment and admissions including recruitment event strategy, travel planning, and student ambassador programs. The role supervises three Assistant Directors responsible for recruitment, applicant engagement, and admissions evaluation across the College’s graduate programs while supporting undergraduate recruitment through collaboration with central admissions. Working closely with the Executive Director, marketing partners, academic leadership, and central university enrollment offices, the Associate Director ensures recruitment strategies are data-informed, operationally effective, and aligned with the College’s broader enrollment and revenue objectives. Undergraduate recruitment efforts are conducted in partnership with the University’s centralized Office of Admission, with the Daniels admissions team focusing primarily on event programming, yield engagement, and collaboration that strengthens the undergraduate business pipeline.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in admissions, recruitment, or enrollment management
  • Demonstrated success supporting enrollment goals and recruitment initiatives
  • Experience supervising staff or student employees

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with the Executive Director to develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies supporting graduate enrollment goals while collaborating with the University’s Office of Admission to strengthen undergraduate recruitment and yield for Daniels business programs.
  • Analyzes enrollment data, application trends, and market conditions to inform recruitment planning, territory development, and yield initiatives.
  • Supports the annual recruitment planning process, helping establish enrollment targets, travel priorities, event strategies, and performance metrics.
  • Evaluates recruitment initiatives and adjusts strategies to improve application generation and enrollment conversion.
  • Leads the planning and strategic execution of recruitment events across the Daniels College of Business, including signature admissions events, information sessions, recruitment fairs, webinars, and yield programming.
  • Develops and manages recruitment travel strategies for the admissions team, identifying priority markets, evaluating travel effectiveness, and ensuring recruitment resources are allocated strategically.
  • Oversees the recruitment, training, and management of student ambassador programs supporting both undergraduate and graduate admissions efforts.
  • Ensures ambassador programs effectively enhance the prospective student experience while providing leadership opportunities for current Daniels students.
  • Maintains oversight of the graduate applicant pipeline and actively participates in managing prospective student engagement from inquiry through enrollment.
  • Monitors application flow, tracks conversion metrics, and identifies opportunities to strengthen enrollment outcomes.
  • May maintain a limited portfolio of prospective graduate students and applicants while working in partnership with the University’s Office of Admission to support undergraduate business student yield initiatives.
  • Contributes to the development and implementation of scholarship strategies designed to support recruitment goals and optimize enrollment outcomes.
  • Assists in reviewing applicant profiles and scholarship recommendations to ensure awards are distributed strategically while aligning with program priorities and available financial aid resources.
  • Supervises three Assistant Directors of Admissions and provides leadership, coaching, and performance management for the recruitment team.
  • Ensures that staff members are aligned with recruitment strategy, enrollment goals, and operational expectations.
  • Works closely with the Executive Director to support team development, workflow coordination, and continuous improvement of admissions processes.
  • Partners with financial aid, marketing, academic programs, and central enrollment offices to ensure alignment of recruitment strategies and messaging across the student lifecycle.
  • Participates in strategic enrollment initiatives, special projects, and cross-campus committees designed to support student recruitment, retention, and institutional growth.
