About The Position

Allied Global Marketing is seeking an experienced Associate Director, Media to manage digital media campaigns for an entertainment, culture, and lifestyle client. This role involves overseeing paid social, paid search, video, display, and other digital advertising forms. The ideal candidate is highly organized, capable of managing multiple clients and campaigns in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. They should be resourceful, responsible, and demonstrate initiative and innovation, with a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution. The Associate Director will be key in developing client relationships, managing day-to-day communication, assessing goals, strategic planning, anticipating needs, and leading the team to execute campaigns while building client confidence. This leader will be involved in both high-level strategy and daily campaign execution, providing detailed guidance to account managers and media planners on client digital media campaigns.

Requirements

  • 5+ years digital media strategy, planning and buying experience
  • Hands-on experience managing Meta and Google ad platforms is a must
  • Experience developing media strategy
  • Experience in the planning and execution of large scale, complex multi-tiered, multi-channel media campaigns
  • Must have experience with Paid Search, Paid Social, YouTube, Programmatic Media, CTV advertising
  • Experience with 2nd or 3rd party data providers and setting up custom data segments to align with campaign targets and goals
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools, pixel tracking and troubleshooting, event set-up, etc.

  • Previous experience working with entertainment brands is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Guide team members with implementing the strategy and executing the campaigns
  • Present to and strategize directly with clients, internal and external teams, be able to think on your feet and offer up ideas
  • Hands-on-keyboard approach to managing digital campaign execution and oversee/guide team members on day-to-day responsibilities
  • Proactively monitor daily campaign performance to identify actionable optimisations and insights that maximize ROI, and fuel future investments
  • Triage and escalate campaign and performance issues that arise
  • Collaborate with creative team on needs for ad units, messaging, landing pages to ensure brand standards are met and customer experience is optimal
