About The Position

The Associate Director, U.S. Government Compliance will support the Collins U.S. Government Compliance Counsel in all aspects of managing and enhancing the U.S. Government Compliance Program. This program provides enterprise-wide support on a broad range of prime and subcontract compliance matters and leads key U.S. Government compliance initiatives across the business. This position may be worked remotely.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience
  • Must have extensive knowledge of FAR and DFARS with demonstrated experience advising on complex issues involving U.S. Government prime contracts and subcontracts.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

  • Experience developing and delivering U.S. Government contract and compliance training.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and guidance on matters arising under U.S. federal procurement laws and regulations, including but not limited to the FAR, DFARS, Procurement Integrity Act, Competition in Contracting Act, Cost Accounting and Pricing Principles, Truthful Cost or Pricing Data Act, and Defense Priorities and Allocations System.
  • Assists in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of compliance guidance, processes, procedures, and metrics to strengthen overall program effectiveness.
  • Support and deliver training on government compliance and specialized regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with senior leadership and, as needed, suppliers, teammates, and customers on issues related to government compliance.
  • Draft, update, and maintain government compliance guidance materials and playbooks.
  • Travel domestically as required
