Your role: Baxter International Inc. is a global healthcare company dedicated to saving and sustaining lives through innovative medical products and therapies. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Director, Global Marketing Clinical Nutrition to join our $1B Global Clinical Nutrition business. This role will focus on driving the innovation pipeline for Baxter's Adult Clinical Nutrition portfolio, reporting directly to the Adult Portfolio Senior Product Manager. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in product management, a passion for healthcare innovation, and a commitment to improving patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Nutrition, Business, or related field
  • 7+ years of product management experience in healthcare or nutrition
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate market insights into product strategies.
  • Proficient in market research methods and tools to assess trends, customers, and competition.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrixed, cross‑functional environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Proven project management skills, managing multiple initiatives simultaneously while meeting timelines.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulatory and quality standards, with a passion for innovation and improving patient outcomes.

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Clinical nutrition experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of the innovation pipeline for Baxter's Adult Clinical Nutrition products, ensuring alignment with market needs and company strategy.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Utilize insights to inform product development and positioning strategies.
  • Collaborate with R&D, marketing, regulatory, and sales teams to ensure successful product development and launch. Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders to drive alignment and support for innovation initiatives.
  • Oversee the product development process from ideation to commercialization, ensuring that products meet regulatory requirements and quality standards. Develop product specifications and manage timelines effectively.
  • Engage with healthcare professionals, patients, and other stakeholders to gather feedback and insights that inform product enhancements and new product development.
  • Contribute to the development of strategic plans for the Adult Clinical Nutrition portfolio, including pricing, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Track and analyze product performance post-launch, utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide training and support to sales teams and other stakeholders on new products and innovations, ensuring they are equipped to effectively communicate product benefits to customers.
