About The Position

This role is responsible for operational oversight of UroGen’s U.S.-based network pharmacies. These pharmacies provide just-in-time reconstitution and delivery of UroGen’s FDA-approved products in coordination with a mandatory HUB. This position works closely with internal teams, external partners, and the HUB to ensure seamless coordination and execution of patient product deliveries. The role also leads quality investigations and CAPA activities related to pharmacy operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • PharmD required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience as a pharmacist required.
  • Understanding of pharmacy regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Experience collaborating with multiple internal stakeholders to address time-sensitive issues.

Nice To Haves

  • Pharmacy compounding experience preferred.
  • Experience engaging directly with customers and healthcare providers preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to improve pharmacy coverage, customer experience, and operational costs.
  • Develop strategic plans and manage logistics for the mixing and delivery of UroGen products upon arrival at designated pharmacy sites.
  • Engage directly with end customers and healthcare providers (HCPs) to review UroGen pharmacy services and support qualification of UroGen’s network.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for service-level issues involving pharmacy-delivered products.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external pharmacy partners supporting UroGen products.
  • Liaise with the HUB, vendors, couriers, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective coordination.
  • Resolve operational issues, service disruptions, and customer complaints in a timely manner.
  • Lead/Support quality business reviews with pharmacy partners.
  • Identify, source, and qualify new pharmacy partners to support growth in volume and geographic expansion.
  • Coach and support the pharmacy operations team.
  • Meet established targets for cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Maintain metrics, analyze performance data, and implement continuous improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with GxP standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), company policies, and all applicable regulations and guidelines, including FDA, TSA, DEA, Connecticut Drug Control, USP <797>, and USP <800>.
  • Provide support for urgent issues outside of traditional business hours and align with the team to share coverage during company holidays.
